The complex includes primary mechanical screening on a trash rack, pre-averaging before aeration, biological treatment with an activated sludge biocide, complete nitrification and denitrification, and secondary retention. All process handling is carried out fully automatically by means of pneumatic lines. The station is designed so that the maximum flow is equalized in the equalization zone and then a uniform flow is supplied to the treatment section. The use of a buffer makes it possible to reduce the biological treatment and secondary detention zones, while during hours of low flow, for example, At night, the aerators continue to operate and the cleaning cycle does not stop, which has a beneficial effect on the nitrification and denitrification processes.

The Biotop-Standart station allows you to purify wastewater of suspended solids, organic pollutants, and nitrogen and phosphorus compounds with minimal energy and operating costs. In the event of a power outage, the station will continue to operate in a gravity-flow anaerobic mode, and after startup, with the help of Biotop-Active bioactivators, it will reach the required operating parameters in the shortest possible time.

The wastewater treated by the station can be discharged into drainage systems, filter fields, combined sewer collectors, or sent for additional treatment and disinfection before being released into open bodies of water.
